MG regulars all played the UT2003 demo during the LAN party on September 21st. Of of the 14 hours the event lasted, we spent (wasted?) 30-45 minutes on the game. I'm finding myself asking "why?!" now.

Digital Extremes and Epic Games have just released the demo of Unreal Tournament 2003. This puppy comes in two flavors Linux and something called Windows and both of them can be obtained from the Official download page.
I haven't tried this mod out yet, due to the slow 56k but the buzz around this Unreal Tournament Mod is so great that you can almost hear it. Team Orbit's Neo Cairo, Is a mod which allows you to control mechs and aircraft along side a normal deathmatch style of gameplay. This Version has 20 new maps, 9 new weapons, 15 vehicles and more.
